Stop and think about some experiences you’ve had with God that really stand out to you - where you know that you know He spoke to you, that He moved mightily on your behalf, or His presence felt so tangible you were saturated in delight. These moments with God are precious and worth recording, worth remembering, worth sharing.

While I treasure experiencing God in extraordinary ways, I find that the majority of my journey is not marked by these special encounters. Rather, my walk with God involves multitudes of daily opportunities to act out of what I know to be true about Him, and what I know to be true about myself in His image, through His Word.

I’m so thankful for the experiences, and equally as thankful for the knowledge that anchors me when the experiences seem nowhere to be found.

Paul says that we are filled to all the fullness of God when we know (ginōskō) the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge (gnōsis). How can we know something that surpasses knowledge? Through experience! Revelation knowledge is knowledge based on experience.

...and [that you may come] to know [practically, through personal experience] the love of Christ which far surpasses [mere] knowledge [without experience], that you may be filled up [throughout your being] to all the fullness of God [so that you may have the richest experience of God’s presence in your lives, completely filled and flooded with God Himself]. - Ephesians 3:19 (AMP)

When we have revelation knowledge of His love, the fullness of God floods from our Spirits into every area of our lives, bringing Heaven to Earth in our relationships, our homes, our workplaces and everything we put our hand to.

Why do we settle for some of Jesus here and there in our lives, when He invites us to live constantly saturated in all of Who He is? God is love (1 John 4:8). Isn’t that what our deepest hearts are yearning for and trying to satisfy in every possible way? Isn’t that what the people around us are yearning for as well? Our infinite and limitless God beckons us to plunge into the depths of His love, to become saturated, and take our place as daughters of the King. This beautifully represents His kingdom in every area of our lives. Let’s stop settling and press into deeper levels of fullness in Him!

Almighty God, Your love is so amazing! I pray that we would desire You more than anything else on earth, that we would go deeper and deeper still in intimacy with You in the secret place, exchanging religious performance and the glory that comes from man for the sweetest, most fulfilling relationship You have offered us by giving Yourself to dwell within us. You are our great reward! Knowing You intimately and personally is the greatest treasure in all eternity. Give us eyes to see and perceive You, ears to listen and understand. Let us boldly live out this love relationship with You, that others may want what we have and be drawn into Your kingdom through us. Empower us to be daughters who have been so saturated in the secret place with You that we shine Your glory every place we go. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
